Turkish State Minister for foreign trade Zafer Caglayan on Tuesday said his visit to Russia and a high level cooperation meeting on Tuesday aimed at boosting trade volume between the two countries as well as increasing mutual investments and devising ways of cooperation in third countries, Anadolu News Agency reported.
Caglayan said a meeting of the Turkish-Russian Business Forum was set to be held Tuesday evening in Moscow with the participation of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, adding that businesspeople from the two countries would also gather to explore business opportunities.
Caglayan said Turkey had been holding strategic cooperation meetings with many countries, adding that such meetings played an important role in solution of problems.
