The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) intends to assist in accelerating the process on removing the restrictions imposed on Kazakh flights in the European Union, the Kazakh Transport and Communications Ministry reported.
"The ICAO European and North Atlantic Office will send inspectors by late 2011 to consult the Kazakh Civil Aviation Committee. The ICAO will continue to promote technical assistance to Kazakhstan," the report reads.
The inspectors' activity will have a significant positive effect in addressing the ICAO audit's remakes.
"This, in turn, will accelerate the removal of the restrictions on Kazakh flights," the report reads.
The previous audit banned Kazakh flights in Europe and included them in the "blacklist." The only exception is the national carrier Air Astana.
