Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents granted accreditation to cosmetics certification body - Ekotest, the state committee said.
According to the requirements of AZS 11.1.006-2010 "Bodies of certification of similar products and services", the main purpose of the accredited certification body is to protect consumers from dangerous and sub-quality cosmetic products through certification.
The authority provides certification of cosmetics produced in the country, exported and sold on the domestic market, and is guided by organizational normative documents and other normative acts of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents in its activity, the committee said.
