A major change is expected in the structure of the Azerbaijani Insurers' Association (AIA) by late 2011-early 2012, Supervisory Board Chairman Azer Aliyev told Trend.
The leaders and membership of working committees at the association have recently been approved, he added.
"There were also re-established the Committees on Life Insurance and Finance. Their composition is being formed now and I think we will inform about it in the near future," Aliyev said.
He said the association will operate under the new charter in summer.
Twenty eight insurance and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan. All companies are members of the AIA established in December 2006.
