The Caucasian EXPO 2011 International Tourist Exhibition will be held in Georgia on April 14-16, the Georgian National Tourism Agency said on Tuesday.
Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia and Tourism Agency head Maya Sidamonidze will open the exhibition on April 14
EXPO 2011 will present tour operators, hotels, and airlines and private companies offering various kinds of services from five countries, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. The Georgian regions of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Shida Kartli, Kakheti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Javakheti will also present their stands.
The exhibition will last three days. The event will organize meetings among infotour participants and Georgian travel agencies, as well as hold educational sessions for students and exhibitions. Georgian souvenirs will also be sold.
