The Kazakh government should work out an action plan to attract foreign capital in the economy, Economic Development and Trade Minister Kairat Kelimbetov said in Astana on Tuesday.
"The Ministries of Economic Development and Trade, Industry and New Technologies, and the National Welfare Fund, 'Samruk-Kazyna', should develop an action plan to ensure investments and loans for the country's economy," Kelimbetov said while presenting the document "Regarding the Main Directions of the Socio-Economic Policy in 2011-2015" to the government.
He said that annual investment in the main capital should increase by 58.5 percent, compared to 2010, to 7.6 trillion tenge by 2015 in order to achieve a real GDP growth at 7 percent.
