The corporate securities marketincreased by 2.3 times to 178.2 million manatduring the first quarter of 2011 compared to the same period of 2010, the Azerbaijani State Committee for Securities reported.
In the first quarter , the volume of transactions on the stock market increased by 5.2 percent , amounting to 35.6 million manat , the volume of transactions on the corporate bond market increased by 3.3 times and amounted to 142.6 million manat .
The primary and secondary mortgage bond markets increased by 2.8 times and amounted to 118.8 million manat compared to the same period of last year.
The primary and secondary market of corporate debt tools in foreign currency has shown strong growth and 20.9 million manat .
The weighted average yield of notes of the Central Bank increased by 0.44 percent during the year , the yield of government bonds with a circulation period of one month was 0.18 percent, three months - 0.13 percent , six months - 0.69 percent, government bonds with a right of withdrawal and maturity of one year - 0.25 percent .
The official exchange rate is 0.7911 manat to $1 on May 11.
