The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) and the Movement of the French enterprises signed a memorandum of understanding, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development said.
It was signed within the Azerbaijani delegation's visit to Paris on May 12 to participate in a workshop for the South Caucasus and Central Asia. The event was organized in the French Senate. The representatives of the Movement of the French enterprises, Ubifrance organization, the French Agency for International Investment, the French Chamber of Commerce, AZPROMO and the Azerbaijani embassy in France attended the event.
The chairman of the French Senate Gerard Larcher said that Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in Central Asia and South Caucasus.
AZPROMO president Adil Mammadov made a presentation of the economic achievements of the country, talked about business and investment environment and export opportunities of Azerbaijan.
AZPROMO representatives met with the leadership of the Invest in France agency.
