Azerbaijan, Baku, May 24 / Trend /

Plastex Caspian, the 1st Caspian International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition will be held in Azerbaijan on 25 May. This inaugural exhibition is part of the famous Plastex brand that unites the largest plastics exhibitions in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Including leaders in the polymers market, some 20 companies are participating in this debut exhibition: from manufacturers of plastic and rubber processing equipment to producers of raw materials and additives. The list of exhibitors also includes manufacturers of ready-made plastic and rubber products for a range of business sectors, from construction to furniture and domestic appliances.

Local manufacturers are represented by large enterprises including METAK and Sumgait Technological Park. Despite this being a new event, the exhibition has attracted great interest from foreign companies, and in addition to commercial enterprises there will also be national stands from Austria and Germany. Exhibitors include companies such as Petkim TP, Textima and Zeppelin, whose participation has been made possible thanks to the dynamic activity of Iteca Caspian, the company organising the exhibition, together with the network of partners of ITE Group, including GiMA (Germany) and EUF (Turkey).

Azerbaijan has all the prerequisites needed for the development of the plastics sector.

The availability of hydrocarbon resources, large network of chemical enterprises, and scientific and production facilities all constitute an excellent foundation for a project of this nature. Furthermore, the rapidly developing non-oil segment of the economy where production involves the use of plastic containers and packaging, such as the food industry and construction, gives the exhibition great importance.

Plastex Caspian brings together leading manufacturers from Azerbaijan, Austria, Germany and Turkey, and offers commercial companies an excellent opportunity to capture new markets s and form new partnerships. It also provides an opportunity to gain an overview of the worldwide plastics and industrial rubber industry, and the latest development trends. In addition, the introduction of new technologies into local production will give additional impetus to the development of the sector, thereby promoting growth in the national network of chemical enterprises.

The Plastex Caspian exhibition will be held in Baku Expo Center and will continue until 27 May.
