Iran's export to Iraq amounts to $393 million

Iran exported 625,000 tons of commodity worth $393 million to Iraq from Qasr -e- Shirin ' s customs border in current solar year (started on March 20, 2011) , IRNA reported quoting Governor of Qasr e Shirin Hossein Parvaresh as saying.

"As much as 80 percent of commodities was exported from Parviz Khan border market to Iraq," he said.

Export contained more than 130 commodities including cement, cake, biscuit, chocolate, fruits and vegetable, fish, sheep, air conditioner.

Iran has exported more than 2,161 cars including Peugeot pars, Samand and Pride to Iraq from Khosravi border since 2011.

Qasr-e-Shirin in eastern Kermanshah province has more than 186 kilometer border with Iraq and two custom stations.
