Iran exports $3 million tractors to Iraq

Iran exported more than 220 tractors to Iraq worth more than $3 million and negotiated to increase the export in future, Fars News Agency reported quoting Managing Director of Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co Ezatollah Khazen as saying.
"The amount of 220 tractors loaded from Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co to Iraq last solar year(end March 20,2011) while Iran has negotiated with Iraq's agricultural ministry to increase the export of tractors," he said.
He predicted Iraq need from 2,000 to 5,000 tractors annually which can be supplied by Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co.
Iran exported 625,000 tons of commodities worth $393 million to Iraq from Qasr -e- Shirin's customs border in current solar year.
Export contained more than 130 commodities including cement, cake, biscuit, chocolate, fruits and vegetable, fish, sheep, air conditioner.
Iran has exported more than 2,161 cars including Peugeot pars, Samand and Pride to Iraq from Khosravi border since 2011.
