Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's leading automaker, said Friday that its sales in June rose 12.3 percent from a year earlier on strong demand for its vehicles at home and abroad, Yonhap reported.
Hyundai Motor sold 352,255 vehicles last month, compared with 313,579 cars sold a year earlier. Domestic sales surged 22.9 percent to 59,761 units with overseas sales also rising 10.4 percent on-year to 292,494 units, it said. Total overseas sales include cars made in South Korea and foreign assembly plants.
