Iran launched new pipeline to transfer gas from Salman joint field to South Pars refineries with transferring capacity of 14 million cubic meters gas per day

Iran launched new pipeline to transfer gas from Salman joint field to South Pars refineries with transferring capacity of 14 million cubic meters gas per day, Pananews reported.

The pipeline route from Siri to Assalouyeh with 440 kilometers length has been constructed since three years ago and considers to be one of the biggest pipelines in Persian Gulf.

It's expected the pipeline will transfer 14 million cubic meters sour gas per day from Salman joint field to refineries in Phases 6, 7 and 8 of South Pars.

By transferring of sour gas to Assalouyeh the sweet gas production in South Pars refineries will increase by 110 mcm per day.
