Prices for industrial production in Azerbaijan increased by 1.4 percent in July compared to previous months, the State Statistics Committee said.
In July, prices on industrial goods in the mining industry increased by 1.9 percent for oil and gas production - for sand, crushed stone, and other goods, prices have increased by one percent.
In July the price index of industrial products in the processing industry hit 99.3 percent. A 2.6 percent price increase was seen in furniture production, rubber and plastic products - 0.9 percent, wood processing and wood products - 0.6 percent, jewelry, music, sports and medical equipment - 0.3 percent, beverages - 0.2 percent, printing - 0.1 percent.
Prices for computers and other electronics decreased by 11.4 percent, electrical equipment - 5.7 percent, tobacco products - 4.2 percent, the chemical industry - 3.8 percent, metallurgical industry - 3.5 percent, weaving industry and machinery and equipment production - 1.5 percent, food industry- 1.3 percent, clothing - 1.1 percent, construction materials - 0.2 percent, leather, leather products and footwear - by 0.6 percent, and production of finished metallic products - except machines and equipment - 0.1 percent.
