About 77 percent of tax officials in Azerbaijan are people under 50, the Tax Ministry said.
"About 29.1 percent of tax officials are under 30, 12.3 percent - between 30-35, 9.1 percent - between 36-40, 11.9 percent - between 41-45, 14.6 percent - between 46-50, 22.9 percent - over 50," the message said. "Only five people working in the tax system are older 65. The weight of this category is 0.2 percent."
According to the information, while hiring, preference is given to young people. As a result of the conducted activities, the most optimal balance between youth, middle-aged persons and the older generation of tax officials has been achieved.
