Iran 's agenda is to increase trade relations with China up to $100 billion and implement a long-term plan to develop bilateral ties, IRNA reported quoting Iran's Ambassador to Beijing Mehdi Safari as saying.

"Iran and China's trade turnover reached $30 billion during the last solar year, which ended on March 20, 2011. Figures are expected to have 50 percent growth to $45 billion this year," he said.

He noted that development of Iran and China's trade relations is inevitable while Iran's availability with the regional market is good for foreign investment.

Iran is China's third crude oil supplier. In recent years Iran has exported steel, copper, pistachios, saffron, and other non-oil products to China.

China has exported equipment, light industrial products, machinery, cars, agriculture, and food products to Iran.
