The total turnover of transactions on all instruments at Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) for January-September 2011 totaled 5.7 billion manat, increasing by 4.2 times compared to the same period of last year, the BSE reported today.
The corporate securities market increased by 57.8 percent compared to the same period of last year. The figure hit 496.9 million manat compared to the same period of last year This is stipulated by the increased volume of transactions in corporate bonds by 2.1 times, although the number of transactions with them declined by 14 percent - up to 141.
The state securities market increased fivefold. The figure hit 5.2 billion manat. This happened as a result of the sharp increase of repo-operations by 7.3 times.
