The Japanese largest automobile manufacturer "Toyota" examines the possibility of launching its production in Kazakhstan, an official close to the negotiations told Trend on condition of anonymity.
"The Kazakh side proposed to launch Toyota car production in the territory of the republic," the interlocutor said. "At present, the leadership of the Japanese company examines Kazakhstan's possibilities and conditions."
He said that it is important for the Japanese side to have many components, including not only infrastructure development, but the skilled personnel.
It should be mentioned that the world financial crisis affected the company's activity in 2009. A decision was made to cancel the construction of new plants of the company in other countries.
