President of Georgia predicts seven percent economic growth, President Mikhail Saakashvili said at a meeting with employees of the state apparatus.

"Today, we are practically the only country in the world to reconsider the rate of economic growth. In the beginning of year, we expected a smaller figure, but now we lift forecast to 7 percent, while Turkey cuts its forecast by 2 percent and the euro zone - 2 -3 percent.
We are growing in spite of the world trends because we have appeared an advantage that others do not have. We grow because we have a high level state apparatus and there is no corruption," said Saakashvili.

The President held a meeting in connection with the results of search by Center for Democracy and Law. He said that upon the results of these investigations, Georgia ranks the second after New Zealand among the 80 countries in the ranking of transparency of budgetary information.
"These results accurately reflect the achievements that have been made in the state apparatus. This success is the result of the reforms that we conduct," he said.

"I called you here today to say that it needs not to maintain success, but move it forward. Everything in the country is made for people and the people in many elections support this way," Saakashvili said.
