Kazakhstan's Temir Joly Company President Askar Mamin and Chinese deputy railways minister Lu Dunfu discussed supplies of Kazakhstan grain in China and its transportation through China, the Kazakhstan Temir Joly reported.
The sides mulled the upcoming docking of the Kazakh and Chinese railways near Altynkol Horgos station, opening a traffic functioning through the new border passage, increasing carrying capacity of the Dostyk - Alashankoy railway section, delivering Kazakh grain China and transiting via China, and the joint development of the International Centre of Border Cooperation Khorgos.
During the seven-day visit to China the Kazakh company's management will sign contracts with China's railway administration, hold meetings with transport and commerce ministers, and senior management of the largest Chinese seaports of Lianyungang and Tianjin providing logistics for transport deliveries in many geographical directions.
