The German KfW Development Bank has announced a tender to involve a consultant to develop a feasibility study for renewable energy development project in Azerbaijan, the KfW Baku office reported.
Based on information published in the official press, the project will increase the share of the renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan's total electricity generation and ensure continuous and effective use of resources.
The tender was announced for the provision of consulting services to assess the feasibility of the project, support the development of regulatory frameworks in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as to create a group on the project.
The main requirements to consultant is the availability of experience in this field for over 15 years, as well as staff with experience of over ten years of work in the implementation, evaluation, construction, designing and planning of wind power.

KfW is ready to allocate 130 million euros to Azerbaijan for the development of renewable energy.
