The second largest German bank Commerzbank has opened a representative office in Georgia and issued a statement. The bank says that by opening the office in Tbilisi its activities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia will begin to expand.
The bank's Georgian office's functions will include servicing local banks and international and German companies.
Commerzbank is represented in 50 countries and its branches operate in Baku, Ashgabat, Tashkent and Alma Ata.
