Deployment of France's Ecoceane-manufactured five sea decontamination ships in the Caspian littoral states will allow eliminating the aftermath of an emergency situation and spill of oil and petroleum products within 24 hours, head of the company Eric Vial told a presentation in Baku on Friday.
He said the ships may be deployed in ports of the five Caspian littoral states, particularly, in Baku (Azerbaijan), Makhachkala (the Russian Federation), Atyrau (Kazakhstan), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), and Bandar-Anzali (Iran).
Entering the sea is possible within less than 12 hours after receipt of an alarming signal, Vial said.

The company is a supplier of different-size ships designed for cleaning from hard and liquid floating waste in harbors, and elimination of contaminations in an open sea. Use of the ships gives the opportunity to protect a coastline.
