Kyrgyz state budget receives 2.9 billion soms from state-owned companies

The Kyrgyz state budget received profits to the sum of 2.9 billion soms from state-owned companies, State Property Minister Dair Kenekeyev said at a press conference in Bishkek on Monday, KirTAG reported.

The Kyrgyz state budget received profits to the sum of 2.9 billion soms from state-owned companies, State Property Minister Dair Kenekeyev said at a press conference in Bishkek on Monday, KirTAG reported.

"The State Property Ministry has received dividends from state companies and those with a state stake to the amount of 2.9 billion soms," he said. Therefore in less than six months the ministry exceeded its plan for 20 years of independence.

"Profits from state-owned companies for 20 years of independence amounted to little more than 2 billion soms," Mr. Kenekeyev said.

The official exchange rate is 46.0270 soms to $1 on Nov. 14.
