GDP per capita will reach $ 15,000 in Kazakhstan in 2016, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a regular congress of the ruling Nur Otan party on Friday.
"Successful industrialization will allow us to become country with high income. Our aim is to bring GDP per capita to $15,000 in the next five years," Nazarbayev said.
GDP per capita in Kazakhstan was 9,000 on Jan. 1, 2011.
