Kyrgyzstan guarantees security for foreign investments in the country, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev said during his meeting with Chen Zhili, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and special envoy of Chinese President Hu Jintao, KyrTAG reported on Monday.
Atambayev said that the situation with foreign, especially Chinese, investments in Kyrgyzstan gets better and the country is able to provide them with security.
The President proposed to intensify the participation of Chinese investments in trade and economic projects within Kyrgyzstan and expressed his readiness to support this process.
Atambayev said that the sides should start the implementation of concrete project for the example the building of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.
The implementation of this project will allow Kyrgyzstan to get out of "transport dead-end", the President stressed.
