Georgian Railway increases train movement speed on the main railways from Jan.16.
"The speed of passenger trains for the first time in Georgian railway history will reach 120 km/h, which will enable to cover the distance from Tbilisi to Poti at 4.45, and from Tbilisi to Batumi - 5.15 hours," Georgian Railway told Trend.
In addition, Georgian Railway starts a new project - "A Day in resorts of Georgia". Within the program special rail runs will be organized to the Georgian resorts. Trains will deliver everyone to the resorts in the morning, and will return back in the evening.
