The unemployment rate in Turkey was 9.1 percent in November 2011 or 2.1 percent less than in November 2011, the Turkish Statistics Institute said on Monday.
About 2.454 million unemployed were registered in November 2011 or 447,000 less than the same period in 2010.
Unemployment in urban areas decreased by 2.5 percent, in rural areas - 1.1 percent.
About 25.7 percent were working in the agricultural sector, 19 percent - in industry, 7.2 percent - construction and 48 percent - in the service sector.
