The Azerbaijani State Securities Committee has registered prospectus of ordinary registered uncertified shares of the Azerbaijani Alfa Sigorta insurance company to the amount of 2 million manat, the Baku Stock Exchange (BFB) said on Wednesday.
Some 2,000 shares with 1,000 manat each were issued under the emission. Underwriter of the placement of the company's shares is 'Texnika Capital Management'.
Thus, authorized capital will be increased from 4.75 million manat to 6.75 million.
The founder of Alfa Sıgorta is Texnikabank, which purchased 100 percent of the company's shares in December 2006. Alfa Sıgorta has licenses to render 30 types of insurance services, including six compulsory and 24 voluntary types.
The official exchange rate is 0.7863 AZN to $1 on Jan.25.
