From July 1, 2012 government purchases by method of price bids will be held in Kazakhstan only in e-format, Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev said on Monday.
"We take all measures to increase volume of e-purchases. E-purchases are held without fail only using one method - price bids. It will be possible to do it only in e-format from July 1, 2012," the minister said.
Mr Zhamishev noted transfer of the process in e-format made it possible to decrease the number of violations by 70 per cent.
After the transfer to e-format introduction of new auctions will continue.
"E-auctions will be held at the same portal where the government purchases are held. All government purchases will be carried out at single portal," Mr Zhamishev said.
