Aircraft flying on the route from Aberdeen-Baku and having to divert to Ganja airport because of bad weather conditions in Baku, finally arrived at the capital, a spokesman for Azerbaijan Airlines Maharram Safarli told Trend today.

He said that a plane was to land in Baku at night, but the airport couldn't permit the flight to land because of bad weather conditions and was diverted to Ganja.

"The weather conditions did not allow the airport to receive it earlier and the plane landed in Ganja," he said. "But the aircraft flying from Aberdeen has now landed in Baku."

Earlier, the National Hydrometeorology Department under the Environment and Natural Resources Ministry told Trend that frosty weather in Baku will continue until February 5.
