Russian holding Efko plans to build oil and fat plant in Kazakhstan, company's general manager Eugene Liashenko told journalists, Novosti-Kazakhstan reports with reference to RIA-Novosti.
"We will build or acquire a plant," Liashenko said on the sidelines of the investment forum "Russia 2012".
According to Liashenko, the company plans to have a plant, which will process roughly 300,000 tons of raw materials and produce 50,000 - 60,000 tons of finished products per year. The company's investments in the project will reach $40 million.
Moreover, Liashenko said Efco is likely to attract bank financing for construction of a new plant in Kazakhstan.
"The final decision on this project will be taken within two or three months. If the decision is taken, the plant can be built within a year," Liashenko said
