A delegation from Indian Infosys have held talks in the Uzbek agency for communications and information during which it discussed the development of cooperation in the field of organization of joint production of software products.
The company, led by the heads of the British and French offices of the company Suraj Ramaprasad and Frank Marc Le Meur, and their delegation will hold meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade and Uzbekneftegaz.
They will also visit Uzbekistan Airlines, Uzbekistan Railways, the Office of the Navoi mining plant, Tashkent university of IT, Uzbektelekom and the Uzbek IT-association.
The meetings aim at familiarizing with opportunities of investment, cooperation and potential of the Uzbek IT and software market.
Infosys was founded in 1981 and it is currently the second largest Indian IT company with a total income at $6.8 billion. The company's structure consists of 64 offices and 68 development centers, operating in Europe, Asia and America.
