The British Burlington company offers Almaty the services in attracting investors in the tourism and sports, Burlington senior partner Deborah Mills said during a meeting with Akim (Mayor) of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yesimov, the mayor's press office said.
"The company's interest in Almaty is caused by the prospect of developing a megapolis as a tourist, sports center with the opportunity to attract investors and realize a number of major projects in Central Asia," a statement said.
Yesimov said that the city is open for new projects. It is willing to cooperate with the aim of developing the metropolis, conducting the various sports and other events on the international level, as well as attracting tourists.
Burlington representatives expressed confidence that Almaty will soon take a leading position in the list of world tourist centers.
Burlington company renders a wide range of services ranging from tax structuring and auditing to protect copyright and intellectual property rights, including a lot of practice in sports legislation.
