Kazakh Eurasia to pay insurance to Costa Concordia‘s owner

The Kazakh Eurasia insurance company will pay four million tenge (about $27.000) as indemnity to the owner of the sunken Costa Concordia ship, the company's press-service reported on Friday.

'The ship which was reinsured in Eurasia will, as part of its shared responsibility, pay four million tenge to the owner of the sunken vessel', the report says.

On January 14, Costa Concordia cruise ship was wrecked in the Tyrrhenian Sea near the island of Giglio in the Italian region of Tuscany. More than 4200 people were on board. There are 17 dead and 15 still missing.
