Net income of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) amounted to 7.621 million manat at the end of 2011, the bank said, on Tuesday.

Total income of the bank amounted to 78.143 million manat and expenditures - 70.522 million manat in 2011.

IBA assets amounted to 5 013.8 million manat to the end of 2011. Bank's loan portfolio amounted to 3.1555 billion manat, 381.3 million manat of which account for the share of consumer loans. The bank's liabilities exceeded 4.308 billion manat at the end of 2011.
The deposit portfolio of the bank amounted to 2509.2 million manat, where 968.996 million manat accounts for the deposits of the population. The total capital of the bank amounted to 512.7 million manat.

Return on assets (RoA) was 0.16 percent and return on equity (RoE) - 1,77 percent. Thirty seven branches, 630 ATMs and 3795 POS-terminals were operating in the country for the reported period. The number of cards issued was 1,857,673.

The International Bank of Azerbaijan is a quasi-bank. Its main shareholder is the Azerbaijani government, which owns 50.2 percent stake, while 49.8 percent of the share are owned by private physical and legal entities.
