The prices on the primary housing market in Baku did not change in January 2012 compared to the previous month and amounted to 825.2 manat per square meter, the Property Market Participants public organization told Trend on Friday.
Prices decreased by 1.4 percent compared to the previous quarter, and by 2.7 percent compared to January 2011. Prices decreased by 30.9 percent compared to the beginning of the crisis period (September 2008).
As in previous months, the monitoring of the primary housing market in Januarycovered 424 high-rise residential buildings, and the number of construction companies remained the same at 151.
In January, as in previous months, most of the new buildings accounted for three-room apartments. The average area of one-room apartment in the building amounted to 60.7 square meters, two-room - 92.1 square meters, three-room - 131.8 square meters, four-room - 182.9 square meters, five-room - 238.3 square meters.
