The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure of preparing the plan and the instructions of resettlement, a decision posted on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers said today.
The decision came into force from the date of its approval on February 24 this year.
According to the order, the body, acquiring the land, is committed to prepare the resettlement plan or in other cases of the instructions if the number of people resettled at the distance of over 100 meters exceeds 200.
The resettlement plan must be prepared within three months from the selected date. The preparation of the instruction is carried out within two months from the selected day.
According to the procedures, the following points are taken into account while assessing the compensation amount: people's right to the land, including the rights and interests related to general land use, livestock and other movable property of residents, types of compensation, preferred by the residents, the amount and type of compensation required to meet a specific claim, estimate of expenditure for the costs associated with the placement and resettlement and other issues related to assessment (definition) of compensation based on the conclusion of the planning body.
The supervisory body controls over the preparation of a plan or the instructions on resettlement.
