Jordan is the most stable country in the region, having favorable conditions for making foreign investments, Jordanian Prime Minister Aoun Khasawneh said at a meeting with the Azerbaijani delegation headed by Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan said today.
The Azerbaijani delegation made a quick visit to Jordan on February 27.
According to the information, the possibilities for economic cooperation and mutual investment were discussed at the meeting.
Jordanian investment projects and projects for economic development were presented at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The embassy said that the Azerbaijani delegation's visit will have a positive impact on the development of future relations between countries, especially the cooperation in the economic sphere.
The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Jordan as of 2011 totaled $3.59 million. About $3.5 million fall to imports.
