Kyrgyz mining sector's production growth increased by 7 percent, KyrTAG reported on Tuesday with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
Kyrgyz mining production amounted to 485.4 million soms in January-February, 2012, that is 100.7 percent of the same period of 2011.
The growth is achieved due to the increase in coal production by 1.3 times.
The growth is also achieved in the production and distribution of electricity, gas and water, where the actual growth amounted to 5.8 billion soms.
