Azerbaijan's Pasha Bank plans to open a branch in Georgia in the third quarter of 2012.

The office of Pasha Bank has been present in the Georgian banking market since last summer. It will be converted into a branch.

Its management said the bank is looking for employees and jobs have been posted on the Internet.

Earlier, head of the bank's office in Georgia Anar Ismayilov accounted the opening of branch for interests of their clients.

"Banks generally reach out for their customers. Now there are a lot of companies in Azerbaijan that operate in Georgia, and we represent their financial interests. Also in Georgia, there is great competition between the banks, and this experience will be helpful for us," he said.

Ismayilov noted it is the experience of a broad institutional investment, which can be implemented through the Georgian branch in Azerbaijan.

PASHA Bank was established in June, 2007 and operates under licence of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan dated Jan.28, 2007.
