Georgia, Tbilisi, April 11 /Trend N.Kirtzkhkalia/

A delegation of the Central Bank of Afghanistan is studying the experience of Georgian colleagues.

Financial Sector Development Project CEO Zelma Sharzadi and department director Aziz Barack are in Georgia on the recommendation of the World Bank.

It is the third foreign central bank, which met with the experience of the National Bank of Georgia on the recommendation of the World Bank.

Prior to that, the delegations of the central banks of Papua New Guinea and Ethiopia were in Tbilisi.

Georgia is one of the first countries that introduced hybrid system of paid and securities of the new generation of U.S. Montran bank. Afghan bankers will learn from the Georgian colleagues, and listen to their recommendations.

Executive director of the National Bank Georgi Melashvili noted that the National Bank of Georgia is already in the list of those institutions, which is referred as sample in terms of innovative and progressive projects by the World Bank.
