Iran's best employee worries about colleagues' jobs
Azerbaijan, Baku, April 14/Trend M. Moezzi
Iran's employee of the year is worried that his colleagues will loss their jobs. The reason is the demands to cut back energy use at the factory, the Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA) reports.
Although Mehrdad Ebrahimi Dezfuli's workplace, Almahdi Aluminum of Hormozgan, has worked to cut back on its energy use, the electricity company asked for even more cutbacks.
The Almahdi Aluminum factory is located in Bandar Abbas in Iran's Hormozgan Province. As the regional electricity provider is trying to meet the high energy demands of factories working on the national Mehr Housing Project in the area, it asked Almahdi to cut down its electricity use even more.
If energy use at the factory is reduced to its minimum capacity, then production will drop and employees will be out of work, Mr. Dezfuli said.
