The U.S.-Azerbaijan Economic Partnership Commission ensures strategic dialogue that explores opportunities for economic and commercial cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan, Deputy Spokesperson at the U.S. State Department Mark C. Toner told journalists, the State Department website reported.
The United States hosted the third session of the Azerbaijani-US intergovernmental economic cooperation commission, Azerbaijani Finance Ministry said yesterday.
At the meeting, held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment Robert D. Hormats, discussed the current state of bilateral relations in various spheres and cooperation prospects.
