Turkey's foreign debt amounted to $90.2 billion in March 2012 compared to $89.1 billion in February, Central Bank of Turkey reported on its website on Friday.
Turkey's foreign borrowings, borrowed from banks amounted to $57.5 billion. Some $8.4 billion of this debt was borrowed in foreign currency, $15.9 billion - in lira.
Debt to the private sector grew by 0.4 percent and amounted to $29.9 billion in March.
Debt for imports in March fell by 5 percent and amounted to $16.3 billion.
