The exports of Turkish goods to Azerbaijan amounted to $228.6 million in April 2012 compared to $ 166.3 million for the same month of last year, a report published on the official website of the Turkish Council of Exporters said today.
The range of products exported by Turkey to Azerbaijan (including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic), consists of wood products (worth $20.4 million), cement ($13.7 million), precious stones and jewelery ($4.5 million), iron or steel products ($19 million), non-ferrous metals ($3.046 million), leather products ($2.1 million), other products ($162,000), electric power ($23.3 million), carpets ($ 3.5 million), chemical products ($41.6 million), machinery ($ 16 million), textiles ($963,000), the defense industry ($367,000).
Turkish goods were mainly exported to Germany in April 2012 - $1.090 billion, Iraq - $798 million and Great Britain - $629 million.
