Turkish Airlines (Turk Hava Yollari) canceled another 68 domestic and international flights on Wednesday because of the mass strikes of airline employees, the airline's website reported today. Earlier it was reported that 200 flights were cancelled for the same reason.

The group of workers of Turkish airlines of 200 people has staged a strike at Istanbul Ataturk Airport against the consideration by the Parliament of the bill that prohibits airport workers from staging strikes.

Airline passengers have been accommodated in nearby hotels. Workers who went on strike were fired. In response, the airline's website was hacked.

Turkish Transport Minister Binali Yildirim made a statement that in the near future, relevant measures will be taken and flights will be carried out as usual.
