Prices in the mining and manufacturing industries decreases in Kazakhstan

The prices in the mining industry in Kazakhstan have decreased by 6.9 percent in June compared to May, the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan said on Monday.

Prices in manufacturing industry in the country decreased by 1.1 percent. Price decrease amounted to 8.7 percent in June 2012, the price of propane and butane decreased by 8.4 percent, of diesel fuel - by 4.9 percent, metallic ores - by 0.7 percent, gasoline - by 0.6 percent, fuel oil - 0.2 percent.

Prices of lead decreased by 11.5 percent for the month, raw zinc - by 8.6 percent, precious metals - by 4.3 percent, copper - by 2.9 percent, ferrous metals - by 1.6 percent, prices for aluminum increased by 14.8 percent, ferrous alloys - by 1.9 percent.

Price for cereals decreased by 1.8 percent in June, the fish - by 1.7 percent, sugar - by 1.5 percent, dairy products and wheat flour - by 0.4 percent, poultry meat increased in price by 1.3 per cent, vegetable oil - by 0.6 percent.
