The production of commercial vehicles has decreased by 30 percent in the first three months of the Iranian year.
Since its new year began on March 20, nearly 33,000 commercial vehicles, including small trucks, minibuses, buses and heavy trucks, have been manufactured, the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) reports. That marks a 36.5 percent drop over the same period of last year.
Only 187 buses have been built so far this year, or nearly 71 percent less compared to last spring. Minibus and middle bus production has plunged by 97.1 percent, with only 21 vehicles manufactured in the first three months of this year.
