According to the Georgian National Bank, the use of plastic cards by Georgian citizens abroad intensified and increased by 20 per cent compared to last year.
According to the statistical data, the volume of transactions amounted to 230 million lari ($1 = 1.65 lari), and the number of credit cards reached nearly four million or by more than 600,000 compared to last year.
The commercial banks also confirm the growth in demand for credit cards.
